Pokémon Legends (Japanese: Pokemon LEGENDS) is a sub-series of the core series of the Pokémon franchise.
The announcement of Pokémon Legends: Arceus marked the beginning of the series, unveiled during the Pokémon Presents 25th Anniversary showcase on February 26, 2021, alongside Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl.[1] The confirmation of Pokémon Legends as a sub-series was not made until its announcement of Pokémon Legends: Z-A on February 27, 2024, during the Pokémon Presents showcase.[2]
