The Story Thus Far[]
Summary of events so far
The Unova region.
Two years have passed since the notorius Team Plasma attack on the Pokémon League. The citizens of the Unova region are still recovering when young investigator, Blake of the International Police arrives in Aspertia City. He has assumed another identity to enroll at the Trainers' School for two reasons: first, to arrest the Seven Sages, the Team Plasma executives who have scattered all over the region; second, to retrieve the memory card hidden by White Team Plasma, a group of Team Plasma members who have realized the error of their ways and rebelled against the current members, now known as Black Team Plasma.
Blake continues to arrest the members of the Seven Sages while the members of Team Plasma, united under Colress, have acquired the Legendary Pokémon Kyurem and have begun the freeze Unova. Blake attempts to arrest Ghetsis, the leader of the Seven Sages, and stop Colress and Team Plasma, but Kyurem, under the control of Colress, turns out to be a formidable foe. Thankfully, the Hero of Truth, Black, has returned from the Pokémon Dream World! Now, four Pokédex holder have gathered and are about to face the final battle at the Giant Chasm![2]

Recently I had a random thought: How many hours of my life have I spent playing "Pokémon"…? I told a friend, who suggested I add up all the play hours of my saved data to find out. But I've actually reached the limit of the playtime counters for a lot of them… And even if I did managed to find out how many hours it is, I'd be scared to actually see it (LOL). So I think I'll stop thinking about it.[4]

When I started working on the epilogue of this series, I was thinking how the "B2W2" theme is "forgiveness." I hadn't really thought of an underlying theme for the next arc, "XY", but maybe I'll start to see one when I read it over again for the next series.[4]

- Blake - A young International Police investigator whose rank is Inspector. He's a perfectionist who excels in Pokémon battles and capturing both Pokémon and criminals alike. He's currently working undercover in the Unova region.
- Whitley - A girl who recently transferred to the Trainers' School. She is a former member of Team Plasma and wears a locket with N's photo inside it…
- Looker - A veteran International Police investigator. Currently serving under Blake to help apprehend the Seven Sages.
- Leo - Blake's classmate is a skilled Trainer who made it into the top eight at the Pokémon League. He's awkward and extremely nervous around girls.
- Hugh - Another of Blake's classmate. He harbors a deep-seated hatred of Team Plasma because they kidnapped his little sister's, a Purrloin.
- Cheren - Black's childhood friend who has taken a post as a rookie teacher at Aspertia City's Trainers' School.
- Bianca - Black's childhood friend who is currently working as an assistant at Professor Juniper's laboratory in Nuvema Town.
- Iris - A Dragon-type Trainer who became the new Champion of Unova after two long years of hard training.
- Alder - The former Champion of Unova. He and White Team Plasma members N and Gorm trained Iris at the White Forest.
- Professor Juniper - A Pokémon researcher who lives in Nuvema Town. She gave Black and the others the Pokédex.
- Benga - Alder's grandson. He started a brawl on the first day of school and was suspended.
