- For the similarly named type of decoration, see Pokémon doll.
- Not to be confused with Poké Toy.
The Poké Doll is an item introduced in Generation I.
Effect[]
A Poké Doll allows the player to instantly escape from a wild Pokémon battle.
Description[]
It has the appearance of a small Clefairy doll. In PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond, they have the appearance of a Cleffa instead. Prior to Generation IV, Poké Dolls could only be bought from shops.
In the Generation I games, the player can trade a Poké Doll to the Copycat in Saffron City for TM31 (Mimic). While this can also be done in the Pokémon FireRed Version and Pokémon LeafGreen Version remakes, the Copycat teaches Mimic to one of the player's Pokémon instead.

Trivia[]
- In Generation III, the Poké Doll was replaced by an item of similar usage, the Fluffy Tail. Similarly, Generation V introduced a newer variant of the Poké Doll, this time it was named the Poké Toy.
- Through exploiting a glitch present in Generation I, a Poké Doll was capable of defeating the Ghost Marowak at Pokémon Tower, although this glitch was later rectified in the remakes.
