Trivia
- Pineco looks just like a pinecone, hence the name.
- Despite resembling a steel pinecone, it is not Steel or Grass type.
- Pineco shares its category with Burmy as they are both known as the Bagworm Pokemon.
Origin
Despite looking like a pinecone, Pineco is actually a bagworm (possibly an evergreen bagworm) disguising as a pinecone.
Etymology
Pineco simply comes from a shortening of pinecone.
