Personality[]
Biography[]
Peonia wanted to go to Crown Tundra to do some exploring. Her father, Peony, heard about that and wanted to accompany her, much to her disdain. Thus, she went to hide in train cars and bathroom stalls.[1]
Sword & Shield arc[]
Having no option left, Peonia went into a train car with Bede, Marnie and Hop. The man, Peony, went in to find his daughter, but did not recognize her behind her disguise. Others told him that she went in a different car, so he left. Bede, who found the situation charming, removed a bit of Peonia's disguise, allowing Peony to hug her and thank Bede for helping. However, Peonia called Bede a traitor, which made him blush. Once the group arrived to Crown Tundra, Marnie wanted to challenge Peony to let his daughter go as she pleased. While Peony was not glad that she interfered into their business, he was confident to win the battle as he was a strong Trainer. Peonia cheered on Marnie to win the battle, as she sent Morgrem to battle Peony's Copperajah.[1]
Due to type disadvantage, Peony's Copperajah pinned Morgrem down. However, Marnie's Morgrem evolved into a Grimmsnarl and defeated Copperajah. Peonia became elated, thanking Marnie and went on her way. Peony thought it was a shame, but then reconsidered that he would've liked to see Peonia independent. Bede thought it was a good idea to join Peony, much to others' surprise. Hop was against that, but Marnie reminded that Peony could be their guide around Crown Tundra, while searching for the Rusted Sword and Shield. Bede boasted that that was what he was thinking about. Peony let them accompany him, as they headed to Freezington.[2] Peony took the group to the lodge in Freezington, where they met the mayor. The mayor stated that they already prepared the lodge, and let Peony know that having more kids was no problem at all. He looked at the curly-haired Bede, mistaking him as Peony's daughter, which made Marnie and Hop laugh. He then thought Marnie was Peony, but stopped, and let the group come in. Inside, the group was glad to see warm dinner on the table.
As they were eating, Peony told them as part of his "Peony Exploration Team", they would go after Legendary Pokémon: a group of titans, three mysterious birds and the King of Bountiful Harvests. Bede, Hop and Marnie introduced themselves to Peony, who learned their names.[3] Due to the mayor asking him about helping him with selling shirts to bring prosperity to the town, Peony fell asleep. Hop, Marnie and Bede went without him to find the Rusted Sword.[4] Bede later took Henry Sword to the lodge, where Peony greeted them. Bede introduced Henry Sword Sword to Peony, who took a close glare. Henry Sword Sword Sword became nervous, and Peony pointed his finger at him: due to his "good-boy" act, as it reminded him of a person he despised, and wanted Henry Sword Sword Sword Sword to leave.[5]
