Ninjask was caught before Paul met Chimchar.It was shown in a flashback in Glory Blaze!.In A Real Rival Rouser!,this was revealed Paul still had his Ninjask,and Paul carefully chose it to fight Ash's Gliscor.It defeated it but lost to one of Ash's powerhouses,Infernape.
