Trivia[]
- Who's That Pokémon?: Sylveon
- Chloe's contest outfit acts as a reference to May's contest attire in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.
- Serena even mentions that it was worn by May in the past.
- Eevee's head piece is the same to what Serena's Sylveon wore in a Pokémon Showcase while it was an Eevee.
- As of this episode, Chloe and Eevee have met every Eeveelution since Chloe became a Pokémon Trainer.
- The episode's main location, Lilycove City, is the same city where Chloe first encountered an Eeveelution in "On Land, In the Sea, and to the Future!", being Kiley's Vaporeon.
- As of this episode, Ash has battled every Hoenn Gym Leader.
- This marks the first time Ash has received a badge he already owns.
- This marks the first time a Contest has occurred in a previous location.
- As of this episode, Alder is the only previously introduced regional Champion not to have appeared in Pokémon Journeys: The Series at this point.
- This marks the first Time since May's Blaziken in Once More with Reeling! a female main character have fully evolved her Fire-type First partner Pokémon.
Mistakes[]
- During the flashback, Serena's Eevee was depicted with the standard tail markings instead of the updated version to depict it being female. However, this could be because she was confirmed to be female long before the gender difference was implemented.
