Now, Harmony the Fire-type Trainer has a Jolteon, and Billy the Electric-type Trainer has a Flareon. The performances they’ve planned are in shambles, but the newly evolved Pokémon are determined to set things right. With the help of Chloe’s Eevee and our heroes, they find a way to work together with their Trainers and put on a great show![1]
Episode plot[]
Ash, Goh and Chloe visit a Pokémon Circus, having been selected as winners of a lottery to see the performance behind the scenes. When they arrive, they find two performers and their Eevee, which immediately delights Chloe's Eevee seeing more of her kind. They're then greeted by the ringleader of the circus, who allows Chloe to watch as she had heard that Flareon and Jolteon would be featured in the performance, and that the Eevee are ready to evolve. Two of the performers, Harmony and Billy, introduce themselves and their Eevees, nicknamed Bernice and Toril respectively.
The ringleader allows them to evolve their Eevees, but when the two performers are about to do so, they accidentally put the wrong stone on the Eevees while arguing, turning Bernice into Jolteon and Toril into Flareon respectively, leaving everyone completely baffled. The two then attempt to re-evolve their Pokémon, but are unsuccessful as they're already evolved. The ringleader tells them to focus, but they state that they can't go about their performances, since their other Pokémon are all Fire and Electric.
The ringleader then suggests trading the Pokémon just for the performance, which they initially agree on. However, during rehearsal, Bernice and Toril are troubled, wanting to stay with their original owners. The following day, they return to their original owners and try to practice their flying trapeze, but both performers are unable to continue due to the type differences of their Pokémon. As they leave to mull further, including the consideration of canceling the act, Toril and Bernice are left saddened before walking off too, although Chloe's Eevee follows them.
Chloe catches up, discovering that the two Pokemon want to continue with the performance. Eevee, excited by the moves her evolved forms are using, uses Copycat to replicate them. Ash and Goh arrive and offer to help. As the circus makes the final preparations, Harmony and Billy are still upset with each other, but Chloe comes in and asks them to follow her outside. They then spot their Pokémon working together, and seeing that they want to make the performance succeed, decide to put aside their differences.
The next day, the performance begins as the ringleader introduces the special guests. With the final act ready, the Pokémon make a dazzling fireworks display by combining both Fire and Electric attacks, captivating the audience. Afterwards, Harmony and Billy admit that there's more to Pokémon than just types and finally accept their Pokémon for who they are. They then give Chloe a Fire and Thunder Stone to be used when she wants to evolve her Eevee.
