- (Japanese: サトシ参戦！ポケモンワールドチャンピオンシップス！！, Hepburn: Ash Takes Part! The Pokémon World Championships!!) is the 18th episode of Pokémon (2019).
Synopsis
Ash's goal is to battle Leon, the best Pokémon trainer in the world, so he's decided to challenge the "Pokémon World Championships". His opponent in his first memorable battle is Visquez, an Electric-type trainer and the acting gym leader of the Vermillion City Gym while its gym leader, Lt. Surge, is absent. The 2 on 2 battle starts with a fight between Visquez's Raichu and Ash's Pikachu. How will this battle go?
