The Frozen World (Japanese: Template:FuriganaえるTemplate:Furigana, Hepburn: The Frozen World) is the 14th episode of Pokémon Generations.
Synopsis
Gym Leader Drayden prepares to defend Opelucid City against Team Plasma, but the true nature of their plans will chill him to his very core.
Episode plot
At night, an attack is in Opelucid City. A Liepard launches an attack at the buildings with Hyper Beam, while a man smiles at this. The Team Plasma forces have Liepard charge, but the Liepard are attacked by a Haxorus, owned by the Gym Leader, Drayden. The man sends Weavile and Cryogonal to attack, telling Colress they have Drayden in sight. Haxorus evades Liepard's Hyper Beam and slams them with Dragon Tail. The man's Weavile and Cryogonal fire Ice Beam, which collide with Haxorus' Dragon Pulse. The attack blows the Team Plasma forces, while Weavile and Cryogonal shield themselves with Protect. The man sees how powerful Drayden is. Suddenly, an airplane appears above the city.
Inside, the scientist, Colress, starts the operation involving Kyurem. He knows it may be harsh, but Colress wants to use the power of science to get Kyurem's power to its limits. With an order, Colress has a cannon fire Kyurem's icy energy to freeze the city. The man comments how the struggle for life feels like, among the fierce cold they are. He comes to Drayden, demanding the DNA Splicers. Colress, however, is disappointed how much power Kyurem has and promises to boost it. Thus, Colress launches an another attack on the city to freeze it.
Later, the whole city, as well as its people, are frozen. The man walks through the city, reporting to Colress he has the DNA Splicers. Colress is amused and decides to go back. Surprisingly, Drayden stands up, though is shivering with coldness surrounding him.

- This is the only Pokémon Generations episode to air on another day than Friday.
