Opelucid City is where the player battles Drayden in Pokémon Black and Iris in Pokémon White. Both Gym Leaders specializes in Dragon Pokémon. In Black it's technologically furnished, and in White it's historically furnished.
To the left of the Pokémon Center is a musician whose gender and instrument depends on the version you are playing. In Black, the musician is a male playing a Keytar. In White, the musician is a female playing an Erhu.
There is a battle house in this city. In White this will be a Triple battle house while in Black there will be Rotation Battles. You can face the two trainers in the house once per day. In White the Trainer on the bottom floor will have Simisage, Simipour, and Simisear in that order.
Also there is a man in a house that asks for a Pokémon from the opposite version that you are playing with the move Charge. It is said that he can turn the city into the other version, Historic or Techno. After you've acquired the Legend Badge, Professor Juniper will talk with you once you head outside. She will say some things then she will give you a Master Ball.
