One-hit knockout moves (Japanese: 一撃必殺わざ, Hepburn: one-hit knockout move) are moves that are guaranteed to faint the target in one hit. Numerous Pokémon can learn them. A prerequisite to the success of this move is that the attacker must be equal to or higher than the level of the opposing Pokémon. One-hit KO moves have the lowest accuracy in the game. Using a Focus Sash or a Pokémon with the Sturdy ability will prevent fainting.
