Okazaki and several Team Skull Grunts are first seen playing cards at their HQ, the Shady House Plumeria arrives and announces that "the boss is coming on in", as Guzma arrives. Okazaki and his fellow grunts are excited at Guzma's arrival. To greet his boss, Okazaki performs a rap: "The wounded world is ready to crash! Time to clean the house and take out the trash! Break it down, stir it up, tear it down, mix it up! Solid steel, break the seal, do the deal, make it real! Full power, turn it up, blue sky, full cup! No one ever calls like a team that knows what's up! Put your hands together, let me hear you say uh, "What's up?!" Uh!" Guzma greets his grunts. Tupp, Rapp, and Zipp arrive, and explain to Guzma that Professor Kukui is starting a Pokémon League in Alola. He later joins Plumeria, Guzma, Tupp, Rapp, Zipp, the rest of the Team Skull grunts in watching the announcement on their beat-up TV. He is not seen after Guzma leaves, nor does he join him in confronting Kukui, although he does make a brief cameo playing cards with Tupp, Rapp, and Zipp at the end of the episode when Guzma thinks about Kukui's words about running away.
Trivia[]
- He is named after his voice actor, Taiiku Okazaki, who also performed multiple opening and ending songs for Sun and Moon.
- He wears a different necklace then other Team Skull Grunts. Instead of a big "S", his necklace insignia is shaped like an arrow.
