Oblivia Ruins is a location in Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs.

Overview

The Oblivia Ruins are a set of ruins hidden behind Silver Falls. The ruins have a deep connection to Steelhead and many sets of their armor are placed in the ruins.

The Player and the Partner first enter the ruins searching for a kidnapped Leanne and Nema. There, they encounter both Pinchers and Steelhead who attack them. There is also a room with murals depicting the history of the Sky FortressThe two eventually find the room where Leanne and Nema are being held and access it thanks to Ukulele Pichu's help. They then meet the leader of the Pinchers, Purple Eyes, who attacks with a Garchomp. After Garchomp is captured, Leanne and Nema are freed thanks to Rand and the other's help. The Player and Partner later return after Zapdos is awakened by an unknown Pincher and discover the Societea's existence.

During the final quest, Go-Rock Oblivia, the Player searches for Billy (Fiore) and a Riolu kidnapped by Steelhead in the ruins. Due to the Steelhead's plan going awry, a Lucario attacks the Player, but is captured and the Steelhead are driven off.

During the Side Mission, Find Giratina's Griseous Orb, Leanne returns to the ruins after receiving a letter about a big discovery made there, but she brings the Player along because she is still scared of the ruins after her kidnapping. Suddenly, Giratina, alerted by the return of the Sky Fortress, appears at the ruins to search for the Griseous Orb. Even after being captured, Giratina remains hostile and Leanne and the Player are forced to flee. They then meet with the former Pincher who sent the letter to Leanne and together, they discover that the Steelhead of the past tried to use Giratina to defeat the Hero of Oblivia and stole the Griseous Orb that allowed it travel to its world in order to keep it from leaving. After the orb is found, it is given to Giratina transforms into its origin forme and is captured, allowing it to return to its own world.
