Upon usage, the user's stats are all boosted by one stage, but it is prevented from fleeing or switching out. It can only be used once and will fail if used consecutively.

Trivia[]
- The only way to switch out when its effect is active is through item usage.
- The move is based on the tactics off military generals ridding their means of escape so their soldiers will fight harder, fitting Falinks' soldier theme. More specifically, it is likely a reference to the Battle of Jingxing, in which the Chinese general Han Xin ordered his army to fight with a river on their backs, blocking any retreats. As a result, they were able to successfully defeat the enemy which was nearly ten times their number.
