The Nintendo Switch is a game console developed and manufactured by Nintendo. It's a home/handheld hybrid that people can be played both at home and on the go. The Nintendo Switch has three different modes: TV mode, Handheld mode, and Tabletop mode, special controllers known as Joy-Cons. There is also a mini version of the Nintendo Switch, called the Nintendo Switch Lite, which only allows people to play it in handheld. It can play the Generation VII and Generation VIII Pokémon games, as well as other games that fit in its cartridge.
