This Ninetales is a Ice/Fairy-type Pokémon appearing in Leaping Toward the Dream!. It was caught by Goh before being returned to its home at Mount Lanakila, where it was subsequently released shortly afterwards.
Biography[]
Ninetales was taken from its home in Mount Lanakila by Pokémon hunters. It managed to escape after their plane crashed and became stranded on Mt. Coronet. Ash and Goh were sent to capture it, but it attacked them with Ice Beam. It easily overpowered Goh's Scizor and used Blizzard to get away.
It was later encountered again with the help of Tsurugi. Then, despite its reluctancy to be captured, Goh was able to calm Ninetales down, catch it and bring it to the Project Mew lab to finish his first mission. It was later released after it was returned to its home.
