This Zangoose is a normal-type Pokémon owned by Nicholai.
Biography[]
Nicholai and Zangoose met the heroes when Nicholai was dressed as Zangoose. Ash challenged Nicholai to a battle, who sent Zangoose to battle Ash's Treecko. Just as Nicholai ordered Swords Dance, Zangoose was distracted and went in an other direction, where it encountered Team Rocket and their Seviper. Max and Brock recalled whenever Zangoose and Seviper are around, who are natural enemies to each other, a battle is always initiated. Zangoose clashed with Sevipver, who used Wrap and bit Zangoose, causing them both to fall in a river, where Seviper wounded Zangoose with Poison Tail. Ash sent Corphish, who attacked Seviper and brought Zangoose to the shore. At the camp, Brock treated Zangoose, who still wanted to finish the battle with Seviper. After Jessie and Seviper came for a rematch, Zangoose stood up to battle them, while James and Meowth took Ash's Pikachu away. Zangoose evaded Seviper's attacks, but was getting tired, since it did not rest properly. Just as Seviper was to finish Zangoose off, Pikachu fell in the battlefield and everyone got distracted for a bit. Nicholai, however, had Zangoose run in a pattern, as part of his plan. After evading Bite and Poison Tail attacks, Zangoose used Crush Claw on Seviper and defeated it. Once Team Rocket blasted off, Nicholai was glad Zangoose won the battle.
