New Mauville is a power plant that is located beneath Mauville City in the Hoenn Region. It can only be reached by Surfing from Route 110 east under the Cycling Road to a small island east of the overhead path. It is the only location in which many Electric-type Pokémon can be obtained, making the location similar to the Power Plant in Kanto. In Generation VI, Magneton and Nosepass can be evolved here.
