Naranja Academy (Japanese: オレンジ学校, HepburnOrange Academia) and Uva Academy (Japanese: グレープ学校, HepburnGrape Academia) are institutions located at the heart of Mesagoza, Paldea. Naranja Academy is exclusive to Pokémon Scarlet, and Uva Academy is exclusive to Pokémon Violet.

The emblem of Naranja Academy and is a shield baring an orange, and the emblem of Uva Academy is a shield baring a bunch of grapes.

Facilities[]

Entrance Hall[]

The entrance to Naranja/Uva Academy. You can check in at the front desk to take a class.

The Entrance Hall connects to the outdoors of NaranjaS/UvaV Academy and the rest of Mesagoza. The player can attend or revisit a class by checking in at the front desk in front of the entrance door. The rest of the hall contains numerous books that the player character can read.

Cafeteria[]

The kind ladies working in the cafeteria make delicious, nutritious fare every day.

The Cafeteria provides different types of food that the player can buy to obtain Meal Powers. It is also where the player meets Cassiopeia for the first time.

Biology Lab[]

A room equipped with microscopes and many other tools for running equipment in biology class.

The Biology Lab is where biology lessons take place at. The biology teacher, Jacq, can be found and spoken to in this laboratory to check the player character's progress on their Pokédex. He will give rewards when the player registers certain amount of Pokémon in their Pokédex, listed below.

Art Room[]

A room that proudly displays artwork made here by the students taking art class.

The Art Room is the room that holds art lessons. Hassel can usually be found and talked to in this room.

Home Ec Room[]

A room stocked with sparkly-clean tableware and kitchen tools used for home economics class.

The player character attends home economics lessons in this room. While not attending class, they can talk to Saguaro here.

Staff Room[]

A room for the faculty. You're likely to run into various teachers here.

Here, the player character can usually find teachers such as Tyme and Salvatore.

Director's Office[]

Director Clavell's office. His desk and research equipment can be found here.

Director's Office is the office room of Clavell, who usually stays here and can be interacted with to form a close bond. A large portion of his office consists of research equipment and computers, which were used by Sada/Turo when they were students.

Nurse's Office[]

Where students go if they're under the weather–though many of them may just want to talk to Nurse Miriam.

The Nurse's Office has a bed that can be used to heal up the player's Pokémon. The school nurse, Miriam, can also be encountered here.

Schoolyard[]

A courtyard sometimes used for battle studies class. It's a calming place suited to exercising or relaxing.

The Schoolyard is used for battle studies lessons, and can also be used for Pokémon battling. It is where Clavell announces the Treasure Hunt and the location where Cassiopeia is fought.

Classroom 1-A[]

You and Nemona's classroom, for students in the general studies track. Mr. Jacq is the homeroom teacher.

Classroom 1-A is the classroom of the player and Nemona. One of Nemona's final interactions with the player is found here.

Classroom 1-D[]

Penny's classroom, for students in the general studies track. Ms. Tyme is the homeroom teacher.

Classroom 1-A is the classroom of Penny. The player can find Penny in one of her final interactions.

Classroom 2-G[]

Arven's classroom, for students in the humanities track. Mr. Salvatore is the homeroom teacher.

Classroom 2-G is the classroom of Arven. One of the last interactions between Arven and the player is located in this classroom.

Your Dorm Room[]

Your dorm room. A nice space of your own away from home.

The player character can use the bed of the dorm room to heal their Pokémon. It is also where the player is transported to after the end of Victory Road, Starfall Street and The Way Home storylines.

Nemona's Dorm Room[]

Nemona's dorm room. It's very tidy.

Nemona's dorm room is unlocked after interacting with Nemona after the Academy Ace Tournament. Nemona stays here for the rest of the game.

Arven's Dorm Room[]

Arven's dorm room. Delicious cooking smells waft from it.

Similarly, the player character can unlock Arven's dorm room by interacting with him after the tournament, where he resides after the story.

Penny's Dorm Room[]

Penny's dorm room. It's got lots of computer gear, and the light is a bit dim.

The player character gains access to Penny's dorm room after interacting with her after the tournament. After the interaction, she stays in this room.

Academy Ace Tournament[]

After revisiting the eight Gyms per Geeta's request, the Academy Ace Tournament will be available to the player. In the tournament, the player may face the staff members and students of the academy. Each time the player wins a tournament, they will be rewarded an item and their Pokémon will gain the Paldea Champion Ribbon.
