Nana is another one of the three main Pokémon that Ruby bought with him during his move from Johto. It specializes in Cool Contests and loves to sashay during contests. It also appears to be strong back when it was still a Poochyena, as it was able to defeat the wild Salamence that tried to attack Sapphire with its Hyper Beam which was also revealed to be taught by Ruby's father. It later evolves into a Mightyena when it was fighting alongside Kiki during the Granite Cave incident, which made the both of them evolve at the same time.
