Murph is a character from the Ranger series. He is an assistant of Professor Hastings. He has a talkative personality and acts silly at times. During your adventure he helps the player and gives him/her missions. The hardest quest he gives is "Ranger contest!"

Murph is an upbeat individual with a silly streak and is very reliable when it counts. He has a close relationship with his father. Despite his easy going nature, Murph can 'erupt' with anger if pushed too far.

Murph is a Pokémon Ranger and is stationed in Ringtown. His partner is a Slowpoke who is the faster of the two.
Shadows of Almia[]
Murph is now head of PR of the Ranger Union in Almia and can often be seen around the Union building. His father, Pamur, sends him a pendant made from a shard of the Blue Gem. In the post game, Murph holds the Ranger Cup where the Player has to bring him the seven Eeveelutions currently available. Later, Pamur asks the Player to find him after he goes missing after a visit. The Player can find him in the farthest room, trying to find a replacement shard for the pendant that was used to create the Player's Vantonage Styler.
Guardian Signs[]
Murph is still head of PR, but also becomes in charge of the Ranger Union's ship, the Union. Murph sails the ship to Tilt Village to find out why there has been no contact between the Rangers in Oblivia and the Union and later joins the Player in investigating the Old Mansion to find a book containing information about Oblivia's legends. He helps rescue the Player and Pokémon after the submarine crash and helps transport the Player across the islands and into the Eastern Sea. In the Post-Game, Murph is assigned to stay in Oblivia to help study the Pokémon of Oblivia's oceans with the Union,
