Mudsdale is based on draft horses. These horses are bred to be patient, have good stamina and strength as well as having a docile nature. They also have more robust builds than other horses.

As for the breed it is based on, it is most likely the Clydesdale, which originated in Scotland (which may explain why it is in the Galar Pokédex).

Origin

Mudsdale is based on draft horses. These horses are bred to be patient, have good stamina and strength as well as having a docile nature. They also have more robust builds than other horses.

As for the breed it is based on, it is most likely the Clydesdale, which originated in Scotland (which may explain why it is in the Galar Pokédex).

Etymology

  • The name is a mix of "Mud" and "Clydesdale", the type of horse Mudsdale is based on.
