Trivia[]

  • Muddy Water shares its animation with Surf in all games since their debuts in Generation III, except that Surf is blue and Muddy Water is brown. However, for unknown reasons, Muddy Water continues to hit only foes and not allies in double and triple battles, unlike Surf which was changed in Generation IV to hit foes as well as allies.
