Mt. Sorbet is a location in Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs.

Overview[]

Mt. Sorbet is a snow-covered mountain north of the Aqua Resort. There are avalanche zones where the Player has to take cover behind stone pillars before being swept back to the bottom by an avalanche. There is also a house near the top occupied by an old man. At the top of the mountain is a cave that leads to Articuno's nest.

The Player and their Partner first travel to the mountain to protect Articuno from the Pinchers. After making it through avalanche zones and Pinchers, the Rangers reach the nest, where they see the Pincher's awakening Articuno and confront Red Eyes. After Red Eyes' Typhlosion is captured, Red Eyes admits defeat and leaves the Pinchers.

In the post-game, Articuno and the other legendary birds rampage across the sky and return to their respective islands when found by the Player and Partner. When the Player and Partner investigate, they discover a piece of the golden armor had landed in Articuno's nest and its power was the source of the legendary bird's behavior. After Articuno is captured, the armor piece is recovered and Articuno is freed from its influence. After all three armor pieces are recovered, Red Eyes asks the Rangers to meet him at the base of the mountain where he reveals he found the final piece of the golden armor, but he only gives it up after challenging the Player with a Blaziken he befriended.

During the final Quest, Go-Rock Oblivia, Garret gets caught in one of the mountain's avalanche zones and must be rescued
