Mr. Strussel was an owner of a shop. Zachary Evans' Yanma caused his glass to be destroyed, so Strussel scolded Zachary Evans. When Team Rocket found Yanma after it Zachary released it, they sold the ice blocks as glass to Strussel and the villagers once Meowth had the glasses destroyed using Yanma. The ice blocks melted, so Strussel scolded Zachary, thinking he was in the league with the scammers. However, seeing Yanma tamed and Team Rocket's plan, Strussel apologized to Zachary and invited him and Yanma be in his shop.
