Mr. Fuego is the owner of Fuego Ironworks in Pokémon Diamond Version and Pokémon Pearl Version, Pokémon Platinum Version, and the remakes Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl. His sprites are identical to those used by Mr. Backlot and the Pokétch Co. president. Mr. Fuego is located in the center of Fuego Ironworks, where the player can talk to him to receive a Fire Stone. In Pokémon Platinum Version, Mr. Fuego gives a Shard instead for each Star Piece that the player exchanges to him.
