Motostoke Stadium is the Gym of Motostoke. The Gym Leader is Kabu who specializes in Fire-type Pokémon.

Gym Mission

The player must earn five points by battling wild Pokémon to clear the Gym mission. Defeating a Pokémon gives the player one point, while catching a Pokémon gives two. There are three patches of tall grass in the Gym, each having an overworld Pokémon. They disappear after the battle with them, and reappear after the battle with another Pokémon.

There are Gym Trainers that battle alongside the player, serving as the player's "ally". Each of them corresponds with a patch of tall grass. The player earns no point if the Pokémon is defeated by the Gym Trainer.
