Montgomery
Montgomery is a character appearing in Pokémon the Series: Black & White.
Biography[]
Montgomery first appears when he entered the Clubsplosion Tournament held by Don George. He was announced to be going up against Delbert in the first round, and won. He was then surprised to see that Stephan was using a Sawk, after Stephan's battle, Montgomery approached him and said that before Stephan thinks that his Sawk is the best, he will have to beat his Throh.
Montgomery then began his battle against Delbert and his Mienshao, although Delbert and his Mienshao fought hard, Montgomery and Throh defeated them with ease. After the battle Montgomery arrogantly commented on how Delbert and Mienshao were no were near their level and should go back to training.
When it was announced on who would be headed to the semi-finals, Montgomery included, he commented that it doesn't matter because he will defeat all of them. Montgomery was then pitted against Ash Ketchum, Ash sent out his Scraggy to battle Throh, Throh defeated Ash's Scraggy with ease, allowing Montgomery to go on to the finals against Stephan. After the battle, Montgomery was watching Stephan and Sawk prepare for their battle, after the two left, Montgomery commented on how Sawk's strength was pathetic.
In the final battle of the Tournament, Montgomery battled Stephan, they both sent out their partners and the two had a fierce battle, despite having the upper hand in the beginning, Throh was defeated and Montgomery lost. After the battle, Montgomery congratulated Stephan and accepted the fact that he himself too needed to do more training.
