Moe is the owner of a restaurant. When the gang crashed the boat at a ferry, they offered him help at the restaurant to pay the damage. After Team Rocket's Meowth sabotaged the restaurant, the heroes helped Moe to pay Brutella the damage, as she requested that her debt is paid tomorrow. Although Team Rocket went to sabotage the contest, Ash's Charmander and Pidgeotto redirected their projectile, which hit Team Rocket and Brutella. Moe was pleased with the effort and pursued his dream: to make a journey on his boat.
