Misty Terrain (ミストフィールド Mist Field) is a Fairy-type is a move introduced in Generation VI.

Effect

Misty Terrain prevents all grounded Pokémon on the field from being affected by status effects, such as sleep or paralysis. It also decreases the amount of damage taken by grounded Pokémon from Dragon-type moves by 50%. The terrain lasts for five turns.

It does not affect Flying-type Pokémon, Pokémon with the Levitate ability, Pokémon holding the item Air Balloon, or Pokémon that are affected by Telekinesis or Magnet Rise.

While in effect, some moves become Electric-type, such Nature Power becoming Moonblast, Secret Power using the animation from Fairy Wind (and may lower the target's Special Attack), and Camouflage changes the Pokémon to Fairy-type.
