Minus is an ability introduced in Generation III. Until Generation V, it was the signature ability of Minun.

If an ally Pokémon has the ability Plus or also has Minus, both Pokémon will have their Special Attack increased by 50%. If an ally Pokémon uses the move Magnetic Flux, it will raise the Pokémon with Minus's Defense and Special Defense by one stage each. Similarly, the move Gear Up raises the Pokémon's Attack and Special Attack by one stage if used by an ally Pokémon.
