Biography[]
Sword & Shield arc[]
Milo was in Turffield City's Stadium. His brother came to tell him that Leon, the Champion, has recommended two trainers. Milo, however, knew these news already.[1]
Atop of a hill, Milo witnessed a group of Trainers working together to move a boulder away. He noted these challengers were quite something, before flying away in a taxi. At the stadium, he faced Sou as one of his first challengers, and sent Gossifleur out. As Henry Sword quickly defeated Gossifleur using Steeler, Milo sent Eldegoss out and Dynamaxed it. Henry Sword Sword switched his Steeler with Lancelot, who evaded Max Overgrowth attack before being Dynamaxed, too.[2] Sou's Dynamxed Lancelot attacked Milo's Dynamaxed Eledgoss, who was not hurt by the attack. Milo teased Henry Sword Sword Sword for not researching his opponent in time: Eldegoss' fluff reduced the damage taken, and the fluff spread throughout the stadium.
Milo pointed out the fluff reduced both Trainers' vision, to which Milo's Eldegoss had the advantage by using Dynamax moves. After Eldegoss using Max Overgrowth, Milo suspected that Lancelot had fainted, and that the match was over. It was why he sought Henry Sword through the cloud of fluff, though the fluff made it hard to see, while his Eldegoss reverted to its original size. However, Lancelot, in fact, retaliated with a Dynamaxed move, which defeated Eldegoss in an instant. Milo realized that Sou was biding his time for a counterattack, to which Sou apologized for making Milo worry. Milo admitted his defeat, and congratulated Sou on his victory. Afterwards, Milo took a break before facing his next opponents, like Marnie or Casey.[3]
After Hop defeated Kabu, the latter, accompanied by Milo and Nessa, visited him and Casey. The three Gym Leaders wanted to congratulate Hop and Casey, for many challengers that had faced Kabu were defeated, and lost the will to complete the Gym Challenge. Kabu admitted he wanted to see them off personally, and yelled out loud: he wanted to see the two complete the Challenge, having faith in them. His shouting caused Milo and others to become stunned.[4]
Milo answered to the Gym Leaders' call about Chairman Rose's questionable activities. He met up with other Gym Leaders—aside Nessa and Opal—as well as Hop, Marnie, Henry Sword and Casey. Inside Rose Tower, they found Bede and Opal confronting Oleana, who refused to move, as Chairman Rose was not present. Oleana, seeing that they would not leave, sent her Pokémon to stop them, and in that moment, the group came in as well, sending their Pokémon to battle. With Chairman Rose unleashing the Darkest Day in Hammerlocke, the Pokémon of Wyndon were Dynamaxed, and this caused people to panic. Milo noted that they couldn't use Corviknight taxis, as Corviknight were Dynamaxed and were alarmed by their huge size. In order to go to Hammerlocke, the group was picked up by Professor Magnolia, who rode away in her motorhome.[5]
Milo was in the motorhome heading to Hammerlocke, which, due to a collapsed bridge, took a bumpy ride on the railway. On the way, he saw Sordward and Shielbert's broadcast, wondering if they were involved in the plot because they wanted attention as the ancestors of the Galar legend's heroes. With the call of Trainers asking for Gym Leaders' support, Milo remained behind in the motorhome, as Magnolia drove them away.[6] Having received word that Macro Cosmos' employees were sent to deal with Dynamaxed Pokémon in Galar cities, Milo decided with the rest of the Gym Leaders to return to Hammerlocke to provide support. The motorhome rode away, but stopped when a blast struck a hole in the road.[7] Milo and the rest arrived to Hammerlocke, when they witnessed a bright flash coming from the rooftop. When they came to the top, they saw everyone having fallen unconscious, so they had called a medical team to take them to Hammerlocke hospital.[8]
