This Morpeko is an electric/dark-type Pokémon owned by Marnie.
Biography[]
Marnie and Morpeko were at the entrance to Turffield with Bede and Hop when they were approached by Henry Sword, Casey, Marvin and Sonia. Marnie had Morpeko use Aura Wheel to attempt to crush the boulder blocking the entrance, and with everyone's combined efforts, they lifted the boulder away and relocated it.[1] Marnie used Morpeko to battle Kabu's Centiskorch in a Gym Battle, which she won.[2] Bea went to Stow-On-Side to battle Allister. Since the latter was not present, Marnie was forced to have Morpeko battle Bea's Hitmontop, which was a tough battle for her.
She later arrived to Glimwood Tangle, and upon witnessing Team Yell grunts battling Allister and Casey, she had Morpeko scold the grunts for their behavior. She then joined the group to go towards Ballonlea.[3] Marnie and Hop, as well as their Morpeko and Dubwool, eventually reached Spikemuth. Morpeko later sat with Marnie at the Pokémon Center, listening to Casey's story of Slumbering Weald.[4] It accompanied Marnie inside the powerplant at Hammerlocke.[5][6] Morpeko joined Marnie at the hospital, as she was discussing the aftermath of the battle with Eternatus. It also joined her at Leon's house when they met Hop.[7] Later, Marnie had Morpeko play with Hop's Pincurchin during their train ride to Crown Tundra.[8] There, the group settled in Peony's lodge in Freezington.[9]
