Effect[]
In battle[]
Incineroar will run up to a wrestling ring and dives into the target inflicting massive damage. Its power doubles if the target had used Minimize. It is the upgraded version of Incineroar's signature move Darkest Lariat.
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[]
Exclusive to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a stronger variation of the moved titled Max Malicious Moonsault. Upon activating, Incinium Z will briefly flash on the player's screen before Incineroar rushes forward to grab an opponent. Before the grab, anyone touching Incineroar will take mild damage and get stunned. If it connects, Incineroar will execute the Irish whip (a wrestling technique) and fling its opponent into a wrestling ring and assault them with an uppercut, a dropkick and another uppercut before hitting them with a diving battering ram, the latter of which causes a giant explosion upon landing on the wrestling ring.
While the move can only connect on a single opponent, the finisher will also launch opponents who were nearby when the main opponent was grabbed.
If this misses while Incineroar is on the ground, it'll slap its knee in frustration.
Description[]
Incineroar grabs an opponent while engulfed in flames. It then repeatedly attacks the foe before slamming them back into a ring. Only one fighter can be grabbed, but the final blast deals damage to anyone nearby.
Trivia[]
- Despite its English name, Malicious Moonsault actually has Incineroar doing a 450° splash rather than a moonsault.
- Incineroar is surprisingly able to use this Z-Move without assistance of a Trainer in the Super Smash Bros. series.
