Magnet Pull (じりょく, Magnetism?) is an Ability introduced in Generation III. As its name suggests, the Magnet Pull ability is exclusive to Pokémon that rely on the Earth's magnetic field.

Effect[]
In battle[]
Magnet Pull causes Steel-type Pokémon to be unable to flee or switch out. It is essentially the Steel-type counterpart of Arena Trap; however, Arena Trap works on Pokémon of any type only if that Pokémon is not a Flying type or have the ability Levitate.
Outside of battle[]
If the Pokémon with this ability is in the lead spot of the player's party, Steel-type Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild.
