Magnet Pull (Japanese: じりょく Magnetism) is an ability introduced in Generation III. As its name suggests, the Magnet Pull ability is exclusive to Pokémon that rely on the Earth's magnetic field.
Effect[]
In battle[]
Magnet Pull makes Steel Pokémon unable to Run Away. It is essentially the Steel-type counterpart of Arena Trap; however, Arena Trap works on Pokémon of any type only if that Pokémon is not a Flying type or have the ability Levitate.
Outside of battle[]
It makes it more probable that the player will come across Steel-type wild Pokémon, if the Pokémon with this ability is in the lead spot.
