Darkrai and Cresselia in the anime
The Lunar Duo, like the Eon Duo, is a pair of Pokémon that are closely related: Darkrai and Cresselia.
In the anime, Darkrai leads Cresselia in a perpetual Cat and Mouse game with Darkrai stopping only to cause Bad Dreams and Cresselia scaring it off and healing anyone in the vicinity with its Lunar Wing.
Darkrai is the Pokémon of the New Moon and resides on Newmoon Island while Cresselia is the Pokémon of the Crescent Moon and resides on Fullmoon Island.
Trivia
- This is the only Legendary trio/duo to contain one Legendary and one Mythical (not counting Keldeo as part of the Swords of Justice)
