This Gouging Fire is a Fire/Dragon-type Paradox Pokémon owned by Lucius.
Biography[]
A century before Liko joined the Rising Volt Tacklers, Lucius encountered Gouging Fire in Area Zero, believing it to be Entei. They travelled with Rystal, Terapagos, and the other six Heroes to find Laqua. Although initially a hostile being, Gouging Fire eventually came to trust and bond with Lucius.[1]
After originally mistaking another Entei for this Pokémon, the Rising Volt Tacklers finally encoutered Gouging Fire in Great Crater of Paldea, confirmed by the rest of Lucius' Pokémon and Pagogo. The Rising Volt Tacklers were later informed by Briar that Gouging Fire, which is a Paradox Pokémon. Gouging Fire then tested their power by seeing how they would retrieve Lucius' belt from it, and acknowledged them after they succeeded in doing so after Dot used a strategy that involved luring Gouging Fire to the water to weaken it. Gouging Fire would enter its Ancient Poké Ball, before joining its teammates on greeting Lucius' Rayquaza.[1]
