Lucca is a character appearing in in Pokémon Horizons: The Series. She is Liko's mother and Friede's mentor.
Appearance[]
Lucca is an adult woman with black hair tied into a ponytail, pale beige skin, and blue eyes. Her hair has blue highlights.
Personality[]
Lucca is a wise and kind woman. She has faith in her daughter, trusting in Liko on becoming a fully-fledged individual.
Biography[]
Past[]
In Medali, Lucca called Friede and invited him over to the restaurant for a chat. She then invited Friede before dawn over to the site where a special Pikachu does his ritual. After Friede initially declined and lay on a stump, Charizard prompted him to wake up and watch, causing Friede to become interested in the Pokémon once again. At day time, after the wounded Pikachu attacks Friede for stalking him, Lucca noticed the wounds and tried to help heal the wounds, but Pikachu ignored her and ran away. Lucca then caught up with Friede about his observations via her tablet and commended him, while a young Liko noticed the man in the video, with Lucca mentioning that the person 'has a very bright future ahead'.[1]
Pokémon Horizons: The Series[]
When Friede is reading about the Ancient Poké Ball, Lucca finds him and takes him outside to avoid disturbing other readers. Both Lucca and Friede then discuss the adventurer Lucius and his six Pokémon. Lucca also tells Friede that she hopes Liko can forge her own future, and she can trust Friede in looking after Liko.[2]
Lucca later gets to meet Liko, who is attending Naranja Academy, again. Lucca is happy to see her daughter and her Pokémon. She later sends Liko to the academy the following day.[3]
