This Jynx is an ice/psychic-type Pokémon owned by Lorelei.
Biography[]
Kanto[]
Jynx, Lorelei, Agatha, Gastly, Bruno and Hitmonlee surrounded Red and his Pokémon.
When Red tried to get away, Lorelei sent out Jynx, who used its hair to wrap around Red's legs. It then wrapped its hair around his neck and once Red told Lorelei that he didn't know the whereabouts of Giovanni, she had her throw him into the ground. When Red sent out Saur, Poli and Gyara, Jynx, Lorelei, Agatha, her Gastly, Bruno and his Hitmonlee surrounded them. They attacked under a battle formation, which caused a blinding light and defeated his Pokémon. Lorelei then had her create an ice doll of Red and Pika, to which she marked with crosses on his wrist and ankles on them to freeze them.[1]
Later on against Green and Sabrina in Cerise Island, she sent her out to use Thrash, but missed them. When it was next to Lorelei, along with Lorelei's Cloyster and Green's tied-up Horsea, it launched Pound, which hit Green and knocked her out.[2] It used Lovely Kiss on Sabrina's Alakazam and Venomoth, which confused them. When Sabrina slipped from the edge of a drop and tried to pull up and unconscious Green attached to her, Jynx used Pound on Sabrina, causing them to fall down the ridge, to which Lorelei and Jynx looked down. They were shocked when Blasty came up with a conscious Green.[3] Blasty then used Hydro Pump, which knocked it against a wall. While faining that she fainted from her breaking from Sabrina, the broken limb started to wrap itself around Lorelei and Jynx, who were walking off. In the end, Green's Ditty bound Lorelei and Jynx, who fainted from being tied up.[4] With Sabrina's disappearance, Green left Lorelei and Jynx lying on the floor to chase after the mysterious bird.[5]
While speaking to Blue, Agatha explained they managed to capture Red by combining the three Pokémon's types: Lorelei's Jynx, Bruno's Hitmonlee and her Gastly.[6]
Kanto II[]
Several years later, she used Jynx and her Slowking against Sird's Persian and her Starmie. When Sird told Lorelei that she unlocked the Tanoby Key, the ground shook, which shock Jynx and Slowking. When the Unown flew over them, the attacked Jynx and Slowking, to which they were knocked out.[7]
As Sird survived, Lorelei had Jynx create an ice doll of Sird to freeze parts of her body.[8]
