Liko pendant

This Pendant (Japanese: ペンダント, HepburnPendanto) is an item owned by Liko. It is one of the main targets of the Explorers, the other being the black Rayquaza. This is the dormant state of Terapagos.

Appearance[]

The pendant is a light teal/yellow hexagonal shaped jewel with a white sun-like symbol on the center. It has a three point attachment at the bottom, resembling a component of the Tera Orb. It is connected to a silver bail and brown cord.

Overview[]

The pendant was originally owned by Liko's grandmother. Upon receiving it, Liko originally kept it inside its box for safe keeping. However, when a mysterious person sought it out, Liko decides to take the necklace with her to keep it out of his hands. Before getting hit by Ceruledge's Psycho Cut, the pendant created a large green dome around Liko and Sprigatito to protect them, now being worn around Liko's neck and underneath her shirt.[1] Once inside the dome, Liko saw an unfamiliar Pokémon before it resumed the form of the jewel of the pendant.[2]

When being chased by several forest Pokémon, Liko notices her pendant glowing. She later questions why it glowed.[3] Later that night, whilst Roy was approaching the Brave Olivine, the pendant glowed once more, unbeknownst to the sleeping Liko.[4] When being cornered by Amethio, the pendant glowed once again and seemed to resonate with Roy's Ancient Poké Ball. When Liko begged the pendant to aid them, it glowed in tune with the Poké Ball which unleashed a black Rayquaza.[5]

Whilst aiding in the restoration of the forest, Liko's pendant starts to shine. This reveals the entity inside to the Rising Volt Tacklers, and it was later enveloped in an orb of light by Arboliva where they received a vision of a mysterious man.[6]

After Liko fell for a trap set up by Spinel, he stole the pendant by hypnotizing her with his Beheeyem then had it erase her memory.[7] However, Liko recovered her memory and got her pedant back from Spinel with Roy and Dot's help.[8][9]

Abilities[]

Barrier Generation

If exposed to danger, the pendant will generate a light green hexagonal force-field around itself and its surroundings. After the immediate danger is absent, the barrier is dispelled.

Resonance

When in close proximity to a fellow source of power, the pendant will give off a faint glow. In addition, it can react to Liko's strong emotions and desires such as breaking free from the case that was confining it.[9]
