Light Screen is a Psychic-type move introduced in Generation I. It has been TM16 since Generation III. In Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!, it is available as TM06.

Description

RSE Creates a wall of light that lowers Sp. Atk damage.
FRLG A wall of light cuts damage from Sp. Atk attacks for five turns.

Effect

In Battle

Light Screen halves the damage of special moves against the user for five turns. When allies are on the battlefield, they are affected by Light Screen just as the user is, but this circumstance changes the damage reduction from half to a third.
