This Latios is a dragon/psychic-type Pokémon that appears in Hoopa and the Clash of Ages.
Biography
Latios was summoned alongside Latias and Rayquaza to aid Ash Ketchum and Hoopa, who were being menaced by Hoopa Unbound, the embodiment of Hoopa's dark power. Ash and Hoopa rode upon Latios during the ensuing aerial battle, even after Latios and its comrades underwent Mega Evolution in order to deal with the many Legendary Pokémon summoned by Hoopa Unbound. Eventually Hoopa Unbound was defeated and tamed, and Latios and Latias returned home alongside the other legends.
