This Araquanid is a Water/Bug-type Pokémon owned by Lana.
Biography[]
Lana sent Araquanid to ride it to Konikoni City with Sun. She also sent it to battle Team Skull grunts, who assaulted Kiawe.[1] Lana continued fighting the Team Skull grunts. She had Araquanid use Bug Bite to prevent the enemy from attacking Sun, Moon and Kiawe.[2] Before meeting up with the rest of the group, Lana and Mallow managed to tie up the Team Skull grunts to a tree with Araquanid's strings.[3]
Lana's Araquanid participated in the battle against the mysterious creatures, named Ultra Beasts, that Guzma sent to attack at Po Town. It fought a giant Ultra Beast, but was wounded in the battle. It later fought the alluring Ultra Beast, to help Sun reach the town.[4] Lana and Araquanid watched Gladion riding on Type: Null to intercept the Ultra Beasts.[5]
Lana and Araquanid spent time on Exeggutor Island for training, and battled against Sophocles and Togedemaru.[6] With the arrival of the four Guardian Deities on Poni Island, Lana and Hapu went out of the aircraft and started to battle the Ultra Beasts. They confronted a Blacephalon, and had their Araquanid use Hydro Vortex and Mudsdale use Tectonic Rage Z-Moves, which defeated Blacephalon.[7]
