For the variant appearing in the games, see Klara.

Klara is a character appearing in the Sword & Shield Chapter of Pokémon Adventures.

Appearance[]

This section, or a part of it, has been transcluded from Klara; any changes involving it should be made there instead. /

Klara is a slender young woman with fair skin, blue eyes, and pink hair. She also wears pink lipstick and eye shadow and has a mole under her mouth. She wears a wild, unique outfit with many accessories, including a white fur coat, a white and blue moth-like bow with pink circles on it, and a dark purple and green uniform. Her uniform consists of a multicolored collared shirt and dark blue shorts with the number 881 on them. Both her shirt and shorts also have quite a few designs and unique prints on them. For accessories, Klara wears a white bracelet on her left wrist, a Dynamax band on her right wrist, a thumbless purple and black glove on her right hand, and a white ring on her left hand. On her feet, she wears pink and white shoes with blue heels and knee-length stockings that have the same colors as her clothes.

Personality[]

Klara is not a very popular musician. As such, she became Mustard's student, thinking that will earn her attention she desires so much, and to become a Gym Leader as well. On the other hand, she isn't very hard working, either. She also butts heads with Avery, who desires a similar attention from the dojo.

Biography[]

Klara was an underground pop-star, who sold only 8 albums. In order to get better at her performances, she aimed at becoming a Poison-type specialist, and in doing so, she met two people that shared this interest, including "Miss Poison" at her concert tours.[1] Oleana met Klara some time ago. Klara wanted to become a Poison-type Gym Leader. Despite her nagging that annoyed Oleana, Klara did mention that she met a researcher named "Miss Poison".[2] Klara joined Mustard's dojo with Avery. The two were promising students until they started to just show off and slack around.[3]

Sword & Shield arc[]

Eventually, Klara joined Mustard's dojo at Isle of Armor, though she secretly wanted the attention so she could be better at her job. She also wished to become a Gym Leader as well, and coveted that spot well against Avery—a fellow student of the dojo—despite no free positions existing.

Klara and Avery lost their uniforms to a number of Galarian Slowpoke, and the two went to chase after them. Klara wanted Avery to battle Slowpoke as a senior (as he entered the dojo a moment before her), but Avery declined. The two started bickering, until they noticed Slowpoke returning with Henry Sword, who was unconscious. The two returned to the dojo, where they avoided Mustard's question about their missing uniforms, by showing Henry Sword Sword, who was poisoned. As Henry Sword Sword Sword was taken to a room, Mustard asked of Klara to contact "Miss Poison", whom Klara mentioned before. Klara became upset, since she only met this person once. Regardless, she went to make a call on her Rotom Phone for further details.

Having the recipe, Klara had a boy named Hyde create an antidote, using a machine he had made. Klara wondered if it was safe, to which Hyde assured her that it was made with the utmost care. Klara intimidated Hyde a bit, as he was stealing the spotlight, so she took the pill and fed it to Henry Sword. Much to their shock, Henry Sword Sword's hair burst out much longer. Hyde was surprised at this result, while Klara contacted "Miss Poison" and was told that Henry Sword Sword Sword was cured but the long hair was the byproduct, which could be safely cut out. Henry Sword Sword Sword Sword woke up, startling Hyde and Klara, who ran off to tell this to others.

Honey praised Hyde for curing Henry Sword, while Mustard asked of Klara for a new task to welcome new students. Avery attempted to take this task, but Klara shoved him, for she was capable of doing this task even after curing Henry Sword Sword, reminding she was less experienced than Avery was. Klara ran off, and found Casey and Marvin at the Corviknight taxi, greeting them as their "senior". The two were surprised, thinking Klara mistook them for someone else, and pretended that this was a misunderstanding. Klara saw through their ruse, and sent out Venipede and Slowpoke to battle. Casey, despite not knowing much about these Pokémon, used Raboot—Bit—and Mega to defeat them. Klara was shocked to see how strong Casey was, and told that this was a misunderstanding to save herself the face. She ran off, with Marvin and Casey trying to follow her.[1] Klara watched with Avery as Casey and Marvin entered the dojo. Mustard wanted to give Casey a Kubfu, to which the duo protested that he'd rather give the Pokémon to outsiders than students. Mustard merely reminded them that they had yet to finish their training. As the question to develop an antidote was raised, Casey counted on Klara to help them out. She did not know where they could find the sap they were looking for, but suspected they could go to the Forest of Focus.[4]

Avery was showing off his telekinetic ability, sending out his Galarian Slowbro by swinging his head to release a Poké Ball. While others were impressed, Klara realized that he was training his Slowpoke in secret to evolve it, due to both of them having caught Slowpoke at the same time. Thus, she shouted how he was just making unnecessary moves. After the group threw Poké Balls on Henry Sword's behalf to catch an Abra (to which Avery succeeded), Klara was even more nerved, and promised to catch up to Avery. Returning to the dojo, Henry Sword Sword had difficult time with his long hair, so Klara offered to give him a haircut. She pointed out she did her own hair, which made others a bit suspicious about the style. Still, after being told that she did other students' haircuts, she did Henry Sword Sword Sword's hair, which amazed Casey enough to ask Klara to do it for her as well. Tomorrow, she joined the group, surprising Henry Sword Sword Sword Sword that she would be coming as well, due to her wanting to catch up to Avery. Regardless, the group went to the Forest of Focus, trying to avoid wild Pokémon.

Despite realizing he couldn't use the ability to find the sap, Avery tried to concentrate himself, but was attacked by an Amoonguss. Poison-type Pokémon started attacking, to which Henry Sword and Casey defended themselves, and even Kubfu entered the fight. As Klara tried to mention something was wrong, she got attacked by Kubfu. Klara tried to mention that she found it odd that Poison-type Pokémon were here instead of the forest. Others applauded her for trying to defend the wild Pokémon, though Klara muttered to herself that it only seemed logical, for she didn't feel much expertise around Poison-type. Kubfu felt guilt over hitting Klara, to which Avery and Klara could relate due to how many mistakes they did to grow better. Eventually, the group reached the Forest of Focus. After Klara called Miss Poison, Casey harvested some tree sap.[5] Klara thought that Kubfu betrayed them, until it showed a poisoned Zorua that they should help. Realizing that Kubfu was being selfless, Klara claimed it could've said something first, but Kubfu became more confused than it was.

As the group found a tree with berries, Klara pondered why didn't Zorua harvest them. As Marvin's Dracovish, who hit the tree to make the berries fall down, fainted, Klara realized the berries were guarded by Pokémon - Skowvet and Greedent. Kubfu attempted to fight them off, but due to being outnumbered, Henry Sword, Casey and Marvin sent Twiggy, Bit and Tearie, who evolved in the battle, which made Klara and Avery grateful the trio weren't official students. The duo were amazed by the Pokémon's teamwork, but doubted mere humans would be able to reach that level of coordination. Casey pointed out it was just them that wouldn't follow orders, unlike most humans, a statement that made Klara and Avery uneasy. With the battle over, Avery decided to take the cure to the railway station to be delivered to Hammerlocke. Seeing he wanted to show off, Klara joined him, reminding that wild Pokémon could attack them, and the two ran off.[6] Having delivered the cure, the two were chasing Galarian Slowpoke, and fainted at the Gym's door. Mustard noted they restarted their first trial, and let them join dinner to finish the trial tomorrow. Honey remarked that they were more motivated with Henry Sword Sword and Casey around. Thus, the next day, the two finished their trial by having retrieved the dojo's outfits, and wearing them.[3]
