Kenny's Empoleon is one of Kenny's Pokémon and is his main Pokémon in Contests.
Biography
As a Prinplup
Empoleon was first seen as a Prinplup in Getting the Pre-Contest Titters!, along with Kenny in Floraroma Town. Prinplup proved to be a strong battler, able to deflect Ash's Pikachu's Thunderbolt with Metal Claw, despite its weakness to Electric type moves. Prinplup was captured by Team Rocket, but was saved by Dawn's Piplup.
Prinplup was used in the Floraroma Contest finals to battle Dawn's Piplup. Despite having the advantage due to being Piplup's evolved form, Prinplup lost to Piplup.
Prinplup briefly appeared in a flashback in Buizel Your Way Out of This!.
In Throwing the Track Switch, Prinplup was seen on TV with Kenny, revealing it had won a contest for Kenny.
In Solaceon Town, Prinplup was seen with Kenny. While looking for Dawn in the Solaceon Ruins, Prinplup snapped many Unown out of confusion with it's BubbleBeam.
In the Solaceon Contest, Prinplup got Kenny to the final round, but lost to Jessie's Dustox.
In A Breed Stampede!, Prinplup was seen on TV again with Kenny, revealing it had won Kenny his third ribbon.
In Sandalstraw Town, Prinplup helped Barry's Empoleon find Dawn's Piplup. Prinplup was captured by Team Rocket again with Empoleon, but was saved by Piplup.

Personality
Empoleon isn't eager to make friends. As a Prinplup, Empoleon didn't want to be friends with Dawn's Piplup, but after being saved by Piplup, they became friends.
