The Kanto Pokérap includes the Pokémon from the Kanto region. This song is the twelfth track on the Pokémon: 2.B.A. Master album. At the end of an episode, Ash, in a voice-over, would announce "Don't go away, the Pokérap is next". Rapping 150 Pokémon names are the same as in the respective Can You Name All the Pokémon? in the original Japanese version. In the TV version, the spoken dialogue in each verse would indicate the weekday of the original airing (see below). The full version is featured as a music video on the CD.

- When the Pokémon anime aired, this song was broken down into five parts, and each part played at the end of the episode, and as indicated, the weekday of the original airing indicated which version would be used in the case of repeats. This lasted until the episode, The Breeding Center Secret. It was replaced with Pikachu's Jukebox for the season 2 Indigo League episodes and every Orange Islands episode.
- The song was shown in its entirety on VHS and DVD releases and lasted until Volume 7, Psychic Surprise.
- Due to Mew not being officially introduced until the first movie, it was left out of the song.
- The line, "That's all folks" is a reference to Porky Pig's catchphrase that is used to close most Looney Tunes shorts and episodes.
- The last spoken line of each verse was replaced on Kids' WB airings.
- doduo is the only pokemon who increases his size in a non animated picture.
Errors[]
- In the first few releases of Season 1, Poliwag is shown with Poliwrath's name and Geodude is shown with Graveler's name. These were both fixed in later releases.
- Lickitung is misspelled as Likitung.
- In the German dub, Krabby is shown with the name Hypno, Kakuna is shown with the name Weedle, and Lapras is shown with the name Paras.
- In the Norwegian dub, Doduo is shown with the name Goldeen.
