Jupiter in Diamond and Pearl.

Jupiter is the second-in-commander of Team Galactic.

Appearance[]

Jupiter is a tall, slim, pale woman with purple eyes and hair, which is tied into buns. She wears a Team Galactic outfit, with black sleeves and kneepads, while the rest of the outfit is colored white. Her left thigh is exposed partially bare.

Diamond and Pearl[]

The player character will confront her in the Team Galactic Eterna Building. The player character will briefly see Jupiter at Lake Acuity in the cutscene where the rival has just been defeated by her. The player character will fight Jupiter at Spear Pillar in a double battle with Mars. After the player character defeats the main story, she can be encountered with Mars again in Stark Mountain. If the player character battles her and wins, she will quit Team Galactic along with Mars.

  • Her name comes from Jupiter, the fifth planet in the Solar System, named after the king of the Roman gods and god of lightning.
    • In the Spanish version, her name is Ceres, after a dwarf planet located in the asteroid belt named after the Roman goddess of grain.
  • It is implied that she and Mars are rivals.
