Pokémon the Series: The Beginning[]
Jan is a legendary surfer who managed to ride the Humunga Dunga wave and place the flag on the top of the boulder 40 years prior to the series. Victor was inspired by him and became his student. When Victor has learned how to maintain balance on the surfboard riding the wave, Jan was pleased and went onto his journey.
