James' father is a character who first appeared in Pokémon: Indigo League. As previously stated, he is the father of James of the Team Rocket trio.
Biography[]
He and his wife had a happy life with their son, James. After James met Jessebelle at a ball, James wrote a letter meant for Jessebelle, so his parents gave him a chest to store the letter inside it.
Pokémon the Series: The Beginning[]
When James was lured into the mansion (believing his parents died), James' father and mother appeared and took their son to Jessebelle, a woman they tried to force him into marrying a long time ago.
Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl[]
James remembered his parents when he heard Jessibelle was going to visit him.
